Mustard Seed was founded in 1999 by two college friends – Osler Patrick Fajardo and Dean Stewart Go. The two men shared a vision of helping small Filipino enterprises to efficiently operate their businesses and ultimately grow by providing them with the right business tools and solutions at affordable prices.
Mustard Seed began by distributing and selling MYOB (now ABSS), an off-the-shelf Accounting and Point-of-Sale software. In contrast to customized systems, off-the-shelf programs have an advantage because of its speed and ease of implementation. These made the products very popular with SMEs in the country.
Just months after opening its doors, Mustard Seed set out to address the growing market demand and developed its proprietary Payroll software called – Philippine Payroll Pro, and along with MYOB, these two pioneering products became the proverbial seeds that catapulted Mustard Seed’s growth in the industry.
Looking back at almost 24 years, Mustard Seed has now grown into a multi-million business and has reaped numerous recognitions and awards from its principal partners. To date, Mustard Seed proudly represents global brands like SAP, Microsoft, Oracle NetSuite, Epicor, Sage 50, ABSS, Xero, QuickBooks, AWS, Sophos, Acronis, Legrand, Honeywell, ZKTeco, Kidde, Dell, Acer, Lenovo, LG, Panasonic, Yeastar, Alcatel, ViewSonic, Canvas, Kano, Worktech and more. As a further testament to its growth and vision, Mustard Seed has established its footprint in 9 cities in the Philippines as well as in Hong Kong to serve the Asia Pacific region.
